ARNOLD STRONGMAN CLASSIC
The Arnold Strongman Classic Presented By MHP, one of the most popular events each year at the Arnold Sports Festival, will return for a 14th year in 2015.
The great Brian Shaw of Fort Lupton, Colo., won the Arnold Strongman Classic for the second time in 2015 when he bested a field of 10 of the strongest men in the world at the 2015 Arnold Strongman Classic Presented By MHP. Seven-time champion Zydrunas Savickas of Lithuania was second.
Alexander Lyskero of Russia earned a spot in the 2016 Arnold Strongman Classic by winning the 2015 Arnold Amateur Strongman World Championships.
The 2016 Arnold Strongman Classic Presented By MHP will be contested over five events:
The Longbar Deadlift, The Austrian Oak, The Cyr Dumbbell, The Timber Carry and the Bale Tote.

Arnold Strongman “Record Breakers”
In 2015, On Sunday, the organizers of the Arnold Strongman Classic debuted a new event called “Record Breakers” in which athletes attempted feats of strength that qualify for and will be recognized by Guinness World Records. The events were judged by a panel of experts known as the Committee for the Study of Human Strength.
